19th May 2012 Press release 11/08/10: Cuckmere Pathfinder Project site goes live
The Cuckmere Estuary Pathfinder Project website goes live
The Cuckmere estuary (also known as Cuckmere Haven) is currently under threat from coastal change – the effects of the sea and weather on our coastline.
East Sussex County Council successfully bid for nearly £250, 000, under Defra’s Coastal Change Pathfinder Fund, to work alongside the community in exploring different ways of planning for, and managing, this change.
This project, which will run until spring 2011, is called the Cuckmere Estuary Coastal Change Pathfinder Programme.
